- Maximize the flexibility of viewing tower.
- Create a construction systems that are flexile, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing.
- Use modular construction designs which are versatile and offer huge potential, despite the serial production methods and standardized architectural concepts.
- To design a vernacular tower that relates to context and is open to all sides to maximize the good views.
- Perform eye-catching design to attract visitors.
- To to have low carbon design which needs low maintenance.
Benefit:-
- Modular construction is much easier than other types of construction and also the labor cost is lower.
- Durable and needs less maintenance because it is fire resistant and moisture tolerant.
- It offers breathtaking panoramic views which attract more visitors and tourists to the area.
Competition:-
- To create a durable structure and cost efficient viewing tower.
- A shelter that can adapt to all time usage (shelter during drizzle, platform for star-gazing/bird watching, photoshoot, etc.)
- Modular construction is cheaper and faster, hence making the construction less complex. At the same time the tower can be disassembled and reassembled as required.
